Skywatch Friday #7

Posted by Stephany on August 29, 2008

I am but mad north-north-west: when the wind
is southerly I know a hawk from a handsaw.

– William Shakespeare (Hamlet) –

After being deluged with wind and rain this week, I was mighty glad to catch a glimpse of the sky peeking through the clouds.

This is my favourite style of SWF image: using an interesting sky as a backdrop tro say something about man and nature. Really good silhouette of a most complicated weather vane.

The entire post is so succinctly summed up by the quote from Shakespeare.

    Intelligent blogging …

Beautiful sky. The blue is SO blue. The weathervane is the perfect focal point.

That is a really magnificent looking weathervane. The weather wasn´t probably getting any better considering the direction of the wind. Shakespeare makes good quotes.

I so love the dark outline of the weather vane against a bright blue sky puffed with white pockets! Just gorgeous!

This is a lovely skywatch! I really like the perspective as you look through that gorgeous weathervane to the blue sky beyond!

I’m so happy you were able to get some relief from all the rain, and saw the blue sky again! Hope the weather is continuing to stay calm!
