I took this photo at Hilton Park. The flowers look similar to phlox but I believe this is a Sweet Rocket (or Dame’s Rocket). (Please correct me if I’m wrong!)
I love this picture. The purple is so nice. I thought it was Dame’s Rocket too but that seed pod doesn’t look like it. Maybe it is a different specis of Hesperis.

With just this one image, you have captured the life cycle of this one flower: bud, bloom, seed. The depth of field is delicious as is the clarity.
I have no idea of the name of this flower, but the seed pod looks similar to that of a rambling geranium – not that this be a geranium!

A beautifully composed photo of the most spectacular little flower, love that color also. Thanks for sharing and for visiting my blog and leaving a lovely comment. Have a great week.

Very beautiful flowers, also very beautifully photographed.
I’ve never heard of Sweet Rocket, but it reminded me of Sweet William (though the color isn’t quite right). It’s beautiful no matter what it’s called.
A weed is a weed, but this is gorgeous.
