This is my first time participating in Sepia Scenes. Last week I went to the local antique stores (trying to find beads) and ran across a plastic bin filled with vintage fiction. The issue featured is from December 1918. The cover illustration is “The White Feather”. I’m not sure why it caught my eye, I just knew I had to take a picture. The top photo is my version, the bottom is the original.
The sepia cover seems to be more romantic and really a bit mysterious. It is as if a sepia fog descends on the friends as they sit pensively on the beach. A nice find, hopefully the writing is a artistic as the cover…
Kindred spirits here too Stephany.
I just love old graphics.
For your first Sepia this was an excellent subject – well done.

The original shows its vintage wear, but I like your treatment on the first.
