I have huge yellow lilies that opened this morning but they’ll wait until next week. My brother sent photos of our mother’s orchids and they were so pretty I wanted to share them with you instead. This particular one is a Phalaenopsis (not a Cattleya) but I can’t remember the name. Cattleya or not, this orchid seems to be highly motivated!
Have you ever seen a newborn collie? If you have the time, there are puppy pictures on my other blog.
What I love about the orchids, they always give a smiling face. I remember the days back home, when we tie the plant in a coconut husk and just let it hang. Hehehehe, I do not know if it is just a myth, but we put crushed egg shells on the husk…interesting, though.
Those are beautiful!
I’ve always wanted one but I’m so afraid I wouldn’t be a good motivator.

That orchid is definitely motivated. It looks gorgeous.
And it has lots of flowers, and surely motivated.
