Not one of my usual posts but this gorgeous boy stole my heart and I wanted to try to help his foster mom find him a forever home.

Wobbles, a collie mix, was owned by an elderly woman who passed away earlier this month. Her family was unable to take care of him and he ended up in a kill shelter. His story got passed along from several websites the day before he was scheduled to be put to sleep. A network of people joined forces and Wobbles got a Christmas miracle – a wonderful foster home. Now he needs a forever home.
He is blind and his age is up for debate – some sources said 7 years, some said 11 years. Whatever his age, his foster mom says Wobbles is “a good boy with loads of personality”. Being blind isn’t a problem for him, he gets around just fine. Click here to see a video of him climbing the stairs at his foster home.
He’s housebroken and does well with other dogs and cats. He is also neutered, up-to-date with his shots, heart-worm negative and has been micro-chipped. If you are interested in adopting Wobbles, please leave a comment and I will put you in touch with his foster home.
Update: (Feb. 2012) Wobbles has been adopted!
