To the Boston Bruins: Congratulations on your Round 3, Game 7 win against the Tampa Bay Lightning!

To the Bolts: I couldn’t be more proud of you. Thank you Jeff Vinik, Steve Yzerman, Guy Boucher, and all of the players for a fantastic season and post-season. If this was a rebuilding year, I can’t wait for 2011-2012. (Steve Yzerman for GM of the Year!)

And a look back: Vincent Lecavalier’s first game as a rookie – October 1998. Sorry for the quality, I was still using a film camera and had to scan this one.

Congratulations to the Chicago Blackhawks on their Stanley Cup win in OT tonight. I was pulling for the Flyers but Chicago hasn’t won since 1961. And I was very happy with the Flyers effort, they were great all the way through the playoffs.

I’m giving the Gross Misconduct Award to Mike Milbury for making fun of Jeremy Roenick (when he got choked up) on the air during the post game. I’m not a big fan of JR but that was uncalled for and utterly classless – like 90% of everything that comes out of Milbury’s mouth. NBC should have fired him long ago.
