Since it is impossible to visit all of my family and friends over the holidays, Christmas is celebrated in a mixed international fashion at my house. The decorations adorning the tree and the fireplace mantel are from around the world. Some are hand-made, some were gifts, but each one is special and a new one is added every year.

I first noticed this building while waiting my turn at a stoplight (one of the many on Hwy 127) the other day. Fortunately, my “go everywhere” camera (a Canon A-40) was in the van. The lighting was too good to pass up and I thought it would be perfect for a Halloween shot. Besides, after my earlier rant, I figured I owed you a nicer subject.
