Hopefully, I’ll be able to get out this week and take a few photos. My ribs have kept me confined to the house and breezeway, so, photo ops have been severely limited. Today I was able to take a breath and get in and out of my recliner without feeling like one of Dexter’s victims. I think I’m finally on the mend!

For my first attempt at Odd Shot Monday, I discovered this Praying Mantis perched atop one of my gate posts. Not only did he take a time-out from chewing his toenails to pose – he even tried to smile…

Note: Without having seen the script, I don’t know if Praying Mantis is deliberately misspelled or if it’s a typo in the quote I found.
