This photo is straight off my camera. The only thing I did was resize it. I thought about posting it for Skywatch but the .jpg compression couldn’t handle all of the different shades of red and the png takes a while to load.

Friday Mystery Guest

The thermometer crept above 70 this afternoon (of course, it will be in the mid 50′s again on Sunday). While the dogs and I were enjoying the warmer weather, we were serenaded by some feathered friends. Cardinals, wrens, nuthatch, titmouse, chickadees, and a pair of downy woodpeckers came to call. We also had the mystery guest shown below. I believe it was a male European Starling but I can’t swear to it.
